Please join us for our regular CGH Monthly Network Meeting on Wednesday, May 3rd at 12:00 pm in the EEI Auditorium 1.17 (Ear & Eye Infirmary) 1855 W. Taylor Street, 1st floor auditorium.
Our speaker will be Dr. Zaher Sahloul, senior advisor and past president of the Syrian American Medical Society, SAMS. He is the founder of America Relief Coalition for Syria, a coalition of 14 humanitarian US based organizations working in Syria.
Currently he leads SAMS Global Response to address the refugee crisis in Europe and provide medical relief in disaster areas.
He is an Associate Clinical Professor at UIC. He is a practicing physician in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in Christ Advocate Medical Center.
Dr. Sahloul’s lecture is titled “Responding to the Syrian Crisis, a Combat Medicine and Refugee Health Perspective”
